An understanding that you have a duty of care to crew, passengers, and other water users, and you will be held to account if things go wrong.

Course overview

This course is split into four training modules, two practice assessments and two final assessments.

The training modules include questions but they are simply for you to check your understanding as you progress through the course and do not contribute to the final grade. When you have completed a module, your grade book will show a mark of 1.00 to confirm completion.

You can work through the modules at your own pace and in short sessions if you wish, but around six to eight hours in total seems the average time spent.
