Yacht Captain Course (CY)
With the title of Yacht Captain, you can navigate boats up to 24 meters in length and sail without limitation of the distance to the coast. In order to obtain this qualification you must be in possession of the Yacht Skipper title and pass two theoretical modules.
As in the Yacht Skipper title there are two modules that must be passed: navigation module (theory of astronomical navigation and calculations) and the generic module (meteorology and oceanography and English).
Requirements
- Pass the theoretical exam of the yacht skipper
- Pass the appropriate theoretical exams.
- Perform 48 hours of basic safety and navigation practices from the yacht captain
- Pass a psychotechnical examination

Internship
- Yacht captain navigation practices.
Mandatory 48 hours. Current regulations stipulate that in order to obtain the title of yacht captain, you must present a certificate from an approved school if you have performed the established navigation practices.
- Sailing qualification practices
Optional 16 hours. The habilitation practice consists of 4 descents of 4 hours each. This allows you to steer sailboats. It serves for the titles PNB, PER, Yacht Skipper and Yacht Captain, if you complete it for one title, it will be worth it for the others.
