Julio Verne Nautica

Training academy and nautical charter in Galicia.

Julio Verne Nautica

Get to know our school

Julio Verne Náutica was created to convey our passion for the sea and to realize the dream of the legendary sailors: to show the sea of Galicia through the most privileged vehicles and to enjoy nature: sailboats.

Our school is approved by the Xunta de Galicia to teach theoretical and practical classes in order to obtain all nautical leisure degrees. At Julio Verne Náutica we offer all internships for Spanish degrees, and we believe that practical training is the most important part of nautical training. Our motto is “Practice to enjoy”.

OUR LOCATION

Galicia is the best sailing area in the entire Iberian Peninsula, and in Julio Verne Náutica we are lucky enough to be at the Monte Real Yacht Club of Baiona, in the Rías Baixas. An environment accessible to all levels of navigation, 800 miles of magnificent coastal archipelagos, several estuaries and natural coves that create a nautical paradise for sailing.
